CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night.
The leport of the , auditors et the Kaiapoi borough accounts for the past year shows a dificiency of £104 12s 9d. The ieport of the special accountant says the accounts are in fearful confusion, the rato-book and vouchers are missing, there is no petty cash account, and there are other irregularities. At Rangiora Mr J. Wilson, M.H.R. for Kaiapoi, stated that his health had been so indifferent since his return from Wellington that if it did not improve he did not think,, he should be warranted in attempting another session's work.
