Death of a Chief. A -well-known native in t)ie Lower Waikato, Hori Tamoa, of the Ngafcitiatd tribe, died sonlewhat suddenly at Wliatiwhatihoc yesterday. Deceased was a lelative of Ahipene' Kaihaij's, and at one time Avas a native assessor atf Waiuku.
