THAMES VALLEY AND ROTOR UA RAILWAY.

The polling of property-holders for the above lailway took place on Friday last. The polling places were Morriusville, Matair.ata and Oxford. The result of the polling was in every respect satisiactory and f.ivoui able to the railway being proceeded with. Only four votes were recorded against it. The rateable value of the propei ty of the objectors is less than £500 ; while the rateable value of the property the owners of which voted in favour is about £28,000.
