ROAD BOARD ELECTIONS.
C.vrT. Stkele, one of the assessors under the the Property Tax Assessment Act, has received the following telegram from the Commissioner, which he has handed to us for general information :— ■\Wm»ngio«c, April 14th. I have to request you to transmit to the chairman of ever)' road board in your district the fol lowing telegram :—": — " It hating been found necessary to extend time for completing valuation rolls to -end ot April, election* cannot be held 'first week in Maj, the time for election must, therefore, be extended, but as this c.innot be done till after statutory date has elapsed, steps will then be taken to extend time till first week in June.
