Launukston, A])ril 24. . Two youths named Ogdeu and D.ivies have Ik'oii committed for trial for wilful murder. Two men, the victims, were line icpairers, and another man, who was scalped, The details of tho crime are terribly atrocious, and the iiftaiis has caused much excitement here. The prisoners displayed perfect callousness when charged with the murder.
Sydney, April 14. H.M. s. Miranda sailed to-day for Fiji, to attend the obsequies of the late King Cacobau. The Nelson Mill follow at an early date.
