GISBORNE, Last Night.
At a meeting of parishioners last night,' called by the churchwardens, it was stated that the Rev. Mr Cocks, 1 of Australia, had accepted the incumbency. Mr Delator, the nominator, said Mr Cocks had no ritualistic tendencies, and was a gentleman who would work in harmony with the other sections of the Christian Church.
