At the trial of Brady, at Dublin, today, the informers, Carey and Farrell, were cross-examined at length, but their previous evidence as to Brady's guilt was in no way shaken. The photo of " No. 1" was identified in court, to-day by Carey and Farrell.
The Dynamite Apostles. London*, April 12. Six men named Norman, Gallagher, Nilson, Dalton, Kirton, and Ansburgh, wlio were recently arrested in London, were again brought up at the Bow-street Police Court to-day, charged with being in unlawful possession of explosives, and conspiracy to commit outrages. Mr Poland, in his opening speech for the prosecution, showed that the prisoners weie connected with Whiteheads factory, recently seized at Birmingham. The case is still proceeding.
The Oaths Bill. iiONDoy, April 12. In the House of Commons, to-day, Sir Henry James, Attorney - General, announced that the Affirmation in Lieu of Oaths Bill, which was about to be tabled, 1 tvas only intended to apply to future members of the House, and would not be retrospective.
