Monday. — (Before their Honours Chief: Judge Macclonalrl, aud Judge Puckey.) The Whakamaru Re-hearing. Tins case was resumed this morning. The Court Mas occupied throughout the clay with the cross-examination of Dr. Buller's witnesses. The case will, in all probability, conclude in two or three days. Yesterday. This Cease is still before the Court. Mr Sheehan'a witnesses are expected to finish to-morrow (Thursday.) | . It is expected that the Court will adjourn after the hearing of the Whakamaru for a few days on account of the absence of his Honour the Chief Judge who is expected to leave for, Auckland shortly. Te Waotu No. 2, will come on for hearing directly the Whakamaru is finished.
