piAKO COUNTY COUNCIL. Roads and Bridges Construction Act, 1882. WAITOA MAIN ROAD. Tenders, TENDERS will be received by the Piako County Council up to Saturday, the 24th iust., at 5.30 p.m., for the fol« lowing contracts :—: — ho 1. Outfall drain from Waihou river near punt to end of formed road, and deepening side drains, some 200 chains, and outfall between Moffats and the sale yards. No. 2. Carting sand, &c, on to road from Waihou to rfver, say 2500 yai clsl No. '3. Building two bridges at Wai* whero and Piraunui, aud raising the embankments to same. No. 4. Formation, grading, drains, SO chains from Larkworthy's to Piraunui. No. 5. Building bridge at Waihekau, and cutting down hill 1000 yds., more or less, new Avings to Waitoa bridge, aud filling. No. 6. Deepen drain ,from bush to Goulds boundary along main road, and cut a small drain about 200 chains long, cut drains fiom Goulds upper boundary towards Waiharakeke, and form road with the stuiF, lay pipeß. No. 7. Ballast and sand on road about 4000 yards, Waitoa to Waiharakeko. No. 8. Build bridge at Jonathan's swamp, and filling, deepen road drains past Mr Murray's, and put in culverts. No. 9. Cutting clown western approach to Pia i o Bridge, form road from Piako to Morrinsville, build bridge in Morrinsville. No. 10. Clearing and draining road, Morriusvdle to the Rocks, forming road on Jenkins Flat, 30 chains, and cutting at gully, on Jenkins^. I will be at the Te Aroha end of the work on Monday morning next, the 19th inst., at 10 o'clock sharp, with all plans and specifications, and will go right through to show works. After that date specifications and plans for Nos. 1 to 5 will be left at Motfafs Hotel, Waihou, and for Nos. 0 to 10 at Buck's Hotel, Morrinsville ; meantime, they will be on view at my oilice, Hamilton. TENDERS Mill be recehed up to 12 o'clock noon on Friday, 30th inst., for the following work : — Widening the toad and deepening the drain on No 1 Station Road, opposite Sclby's. Specifications to be seen at my office, Hamilton, and at Mr Hewitt's Hotel, Cambridge. Tenders to be addressed to the Chairman Cambrideo Road Board, Cambridge, and endorsed "Tender for diainage, &c." Contract No. 4.— Decpeningand clearing drains along Victoria road, putting in pipes and gravelling.
