PIAKO COUNTY COUNCIL. Roads and Bridges Construction Act, 1882. WAITOA MAIN ROAD. Tenders, TENDERS will be received by the Piako County Council up to Saturday, the 24th inst., at 5.30 p.m., for the following contracts :—: — No 1. Outtall drain from Waihou river near punt to end of formed road, and deepening side drains, some 200 chains, and outfall between Moffats and the sale yards. No. 2. Carting sand, Sec, on to road from Waihou to rtver, say 2500 yards. No. 3. Building tM*o bridges at Wai* whero and Piraunui, and raising the embankments to same. No. 4. Formation, grading, drains, 80 chains from Larkworthy's to Piraunui. No. 5. Building bridge at Waihekau, and cutting down hill lOUOyds., i more or less, new wings to j Waitoa bridge, and rilling. No. 6. Deepen drain from bush to Goulds boundary along main i toad, and cut a small drain abont 200 chains long, cut drains from Goulds upper boundary towards Waihar.vkcke, and form road with the stuLF, lay pipes. No. 7. Ballast and sand on road about 4000 yards, Waitoa to Waiharakeke. No. S. Build bridge at Jonathan's swamp, and filling, deepen road drains past Mr MuiTay's, and put in culverts. No. U. Cutting down western approach to Pi.i o Budge, form road fioin Piako to Morrinsville, build bridge in Morrins%ille. No. 10. Clearing and draining road, Morrinsville to the Kocks, forming load on Jenkins* Flat, 30 chains, and cutting at gully, on Jenkins'. I will be at the Te Aroha end of the work on Monday morning next, the l!)Hi inst., at 10 o'clock sharp, with all plans and specifications, and will go right through to show works. After that date specifications and plans for Nos. 1 to 3 will be left at Motfat's Hotel, Waihou, and for Nos. 6 to 10 at Buck's Hotel, Morrinsville ; meantime, they will be on view at my office, Hamilton.
