T AUPO, Last Night. During the wei-k seveial shocks of caithquake were felt. One of unu^iul seventy occurred about twelve o'clock on Tuesday. Tlie treniour of the giound \\ as felt foi. about bix seconds,, and the shock was bo violent that it half emptied a glass of -water. The oscillations ot the eaithfjuake waves were from north-vest to soutli-cast. It is not known if Tongaliio was active, as the volcano has been cloudy tor the last week.
