( NOTICE, is. hereby igiven that in accordance with the provisions, of "The District Railways Act, 1877,"' the abovementioned — The Thames, Valley and Rotorua Railway Company Limited — ! , .have caused the middle line and direction of the Railway proposed to be ponstructed under the said Act to be set forth on a Plan and (Jese'ribed in a Book of Reference, showing tliti lands ' required to be taken' for the same, and the names of the owners and occupiers of such lands, so far as 'they can be ascertained ; and copies of the said plan aud book of reference have been deposited at, the -under■mentioned public places in the district within , which -'the said Railway is intunded to be constructed, namely — The Post Office, Morriusville ; Tho Resident Magistrate's Court, Hamilton; i:»,Tho Resident Magistrate's Court, Cambridge ; And at the Public Works Office, Wellington. , i Notice is also hereby given that the area it is proposed to constitute a railway distiict ior the purposes of the said act, .contains five hundred and fortyeight thousand acres (or thereabouts), bounded as follows, that is to say :—: — Commencing at the north-west corner of Motumaho No. 2 Block, thence northeasterly along the northern and western boundary of the said block, and northwestern boundary of the Taukoro Block to the Piako ' River, thence southerly along the western bank of the Piako River to its junction with the Waitakaruru stream, thence south- westerly along the centre of the said last-mentioucd stream to its junction with the Topehaeliae stream, thence south-eabtcrly alonsr the centre of the la&t-mcntioned stream to the south-east corner of the Te Mutu No. 2 Block, thence by a straight line beaiingN. 52' E. 202 ch.iins to the surveyed road-line from Morriuswlle to the Matamata road, through the Maungatapu Block, thence easterly by the southern boundary of the said road to the north-east corner of Subdivision Lot 4 of Block VIII, Maungakawa survey district, thence south-easterly by the south-west boundary of the surveyed road to Matamata from Waihou Tow nship to the south east boundary of Subdivision Lot 1 of Block VIII, Maungakau a survey distiict, thence easterly in a straight line to the Waihou River, through Trig 579, thence by the south-cast side of the said Waihou river to the Wairere stream, thenoe along the centre of the said Waireie stream to the north-east corner of Block Okauia No. 1, thence by a line bearing S. 24' W. 426 chains, thence by a line bearing S. 23" E. 130 chains, thence by a line bearing S. 10' E. 204 chains, thence by a line bearing S. 23" E. 183 chains, thence by a straight line to the northernmost corner of Block WhaitiKurunui No 4.v (northern portion), thence by the easterly boundary of the last-men-tioned block to the south-east corner of Block Whaiti-Kurunui 4d, thence south-easterly along the centre of the Waiuakaugau stream to the north-west corner of Block Paengaroa No. 4, thence by tho south-west boundary of the lastmentioned block to the south-east boundary of the same block, thence easterly by a straight line to the north-east corner of Block Whaiti-Kuranui (northern portion) 2r>, thence by the south-east boundaries of Blocks Whaiti-Kuranui(norchern portion) 2n, 2k, 2b, la, Ijj, and le respectively, and the south-east boundary ot Block Whaiti-Kuranui (southern portion) Ia to the north-east corner of the Kokako Block, thence by the north-cast boundary of the Kokako Block to the south-cast boundary of the said Kokako Block, thenco in a straight line to the north-east corner of Block Tokoroa No. 1, thence by the easterly and south-easterly boundary of the last-mentioned block to the southeily boundary of the same block, thencu by the southerly boundary of the same block 426 cl/ains, thence by a line bearing S. 10" E. 146 chains, thenco by a line bearing S.
