Ix consequence of the contradiction contained in Major- Wilson's letter in our jaaue 1 of Saturday 'last| a] copy 6f ' which has also appeared in tlie Auckland Star, \t o liave caused enquiry to be made by our reporter intothe circumstances of the case referred to, and we feel justified iv stating that the version given by him is substantially correct, and that conclu-" sive evidence of the facts being true will be furnished in the course of the next few' days. All the parties concerned agiee' upon this one mam fact— that Dr Buller's services will be no longer required by the Patetere Company after the conclusion of the Waotu block.
