The tailoresses of this city, who for some time past have been on strike, arc expected to return to work at an early date., the strike being virtnally ended. The strikp in the coal trade has practicaliy collapsed, and the majority of thp men have returned to work. Arrived : The P. and 0. steamship TTizam, with the inward mads via Suez and Brindisi, dated London, January 13.
