GRANTS UNDER ROADS CONSTRUCTION ACT IN WAIKATO COUNTY.
Grants foy district loads have been made full, T.iotaoroa, £3,500 ; Cambudge, £1000 ; Tamahere, £500, all, of course, subject to the provisions of the Roads Construction Act being carried out as to taking poll and making special rate. The sum required to be paid by the county, viz, £79 15s 3d, is so small that the first debenture will be at once taken up, and paid out of county fund.
