[Received Feb. 10,12.47 p.m.] . Si'ix\EY, Yesterday. Abrived yesterday evening, the,, Union Company's steamship Hauroto from Auckland. The enquiry into the cause of the recent train accident, l>y which several persons were injured, was coucluded on Saturday. The Court found that the accident was caused by the negligence of the pointsman.
Adelaide, Yesterday. Arrived, yesterday afternoon, the P and 0. steamship Niz tun. His Excellency, Sir W. C. F. Robinson, is a passenger by her. Advices to hand by the mail describes the attempt to float the Victorian lpa'n as a complete failure, owing to the high minimum fixed and the state of the money maiket.
