The examination of Tamihana was resumed, when Mr Hay put in certain Supreme Courtproceedings which had been taken by Mr Walker and others against the witness and Tapa for trespass. Mr Grace and Mr Walker crossexamined at considerable length. His Worship also examined, Tapa te Whata deposed that the house was his, that on the 17th November last Walker and a large number of other persons, some of them , armed with guns . and axes, had entered his house when he ■was at prayers. He wan at prayers in ' consequence of the ■ pakehns coming to disturb him.' ' They 1 ordered hint ! to go aiid ' ' he would not.
