GISBORNE, Last Night.
There is great excitement here and in the country districts about pardoning Te Kooti. Threats are freely made that should he ever appear here he w ill be shot down like a dog whether pardoned or not, and hopes are expressed that Sir William Jervois will not endorse the action of Mr Bryce.
