Our readers will be glad to learn that Mr Archibald, Forbes, the celebrated war correspondent, who last week attracted such brilliant and crowded audiences to Abbotts Opera House in Auckland, will lecture in Hamilton on Friday and Saturday eveniug. Mr Forbes before beginning his West Coast 'tour happens to have these two evenings to spare, and in the two entertainments he will compress the substance of his four famous lectures. During the last twelve years the hard rider and brilliant writer has been the hero of enough adventures to form material for a dozen sensational novels. Ib is these experiences which people flock to hear 3 and when ,wi,th these are combined the lecturer's, personal reminiscences of kings and princes he has met, and warriors he has known, it would, be difficult to imagine a more interesting evening's entertainment. Certainly Archibald Forbes will be one of the most remarkable men that hay,e ever visited the Waikato district. It will be seen that the manager Has fixed what are called popular prices. Times are a little depressed, and is thoughtful of Mr Smythe to temper the wind ,tp the shorn lamb.
