THE BUSH FIRES. Narrow Escape of Dr. Careys House.

Tiik fire which lias 1 bcien' burning in the bwamp and bus>h on Dr Careys propeity, near Hamilton, communicated with a furze hedge running close to the residence on Sunday, and thence catching the f cm and dry grass, nearly 'succeeded in .spreading to the house itself. The damage done to the giounds is considerable, and will talke ' 'some time to repair.
