Raglan.
Oy the 22nd 'ult. a meeting of householders for the purpose of electing a school committee, was held in the Council Chambers, Raglan. Mr A. Chalmers occupied the chair. The report and balance-sheet for the past year was read and adopted. The following persons were elected as a school committee : Messrs A. Gilmour, B. Frizzell, A. Chalmers, W. Whylie, R. Phelps, and J. Pearce. Mr A. Gilmouv was subsequently elected chairman and Mr E. Frizzell treasurer.
