/CAMBRIDGE TOWN DISTRICT. Kj , Notice is hereby given, that at a Special Meeting of the Cambridge Town Board, held in the Town Boaid' Office on Friday, the 29th day of December, 1882, it was resolved as follows :—: — 1. That the Board, under powers couferied by Sec. 244 " Municipal Corporations Act, 1876," propose to undertake the construction of Waterworks for supplyiuc the town with pure water, the estimated cost of which is three thousand pounds sterling. 2. That a loan of three thousand pounds sterling be raised under part ten "Municipal Corporations' Act." 8. That the interest and sinking fund be repaid by a bpecial rate to be struck for that purpose. A Special Meeting of the Town Board will be held in (he Town Board Office on Monday, the 29th day of January, 1883, at 7.30 p.m., to confirm the above proposals, and further that a meeting of the ratepayers in terms of section 141, " Municipal Corporations' Act, 1876," will be held in the Public Hall, Cambridge, on Thursday, the Ist day of February, 1883, at 7.30 p.m., to discuss the foregoing proposals.
