ENTERTAINMENT AT CAMBRIDGE WEST.
A social entertainment in aid of the Cambridge West Baptist Church Harmonium Fund, was held in the schoolhouse, ) 'Cambridge West', on Tuesday evening last. Notwithstanding the very worthy nature ■of the object, in aid of which the entertainment was given, the attendance was not so large as might have been expected ; but the disagreeable nature of the weather, together with other disappointments, may to some considerable extent account for the paucity of the attendance. An excellent programme of music, however, was crdditab'ly executed, and to the satisfaction of all those who attended ; this fact, being ampty demonstrated by the warm nature of ,the j applause.
