The annual meeting of the ratepayers of thi,s .district tq elect a new school t commitfcee was held iii the school-house on Monday evening. The time fixed for the, meeting-was -7-pmi., and-althbngh it wai 'nearer- 9- than 7 when«i« 'began, a very poor muster put >'in an appenrance, the^tal numbero amounting, t ,to » .Mr A. S. Sherret was chairman of the meeting^andrthe \>ldVcommittee were elected again. The school is not in a very satisfactory-state, as t the attendance is very bad.
