Mr BR YCE'S VISIT to KA WHI A.
Tub officer in charge of the Constabulary in this district received instructions yesterday from the Native Minister, relative to that gentleman's forthcoming visit to Kawhia. He will not proceed direct to Kawlua in the Hinemoa as at first intended, but will liiucl at Raglan, where he has instructed that six saddle horses shall await his arrival. Mr Bryce and party will then proceed from Raglan along the coast line of Kawhia, and having transacted his business there will return to Waikato by Whatiwhatihoe and Alexandra, coining across the tracks over the end of Pirongia. Guides for the journey have also been ordered to meet the party at Kaplan. The day upon which Mr Bryce will laud at Raglan has not yet transpired, but from the nature of the instructions he might be expected there at the latter cud of the week.
