TAWHIAO'S MOVEMENTS. [BY TELEGRAPH.-OWN CORRESPONDENT.]
Waxganui, Last Night. TawhiAO left early this • morning for Wangehu, where . a great reception awaits him. Arrangements were made by a number of gentlemen here to give him'a'priyjite banquet, but the mayor received a telegram from Mr Bryce, discountenancing a public reception, and Tawhiao hearing of this, the natives say he became offended and left. He proceeds next to Foxton, Wairarapa, and back to' Waikato Via. Hawkes Bay.
