The Treasury returns show that during the December quarter the revenue of New South Wales amounted to £2,050,000, an increase of £163,000 as compared with the corresponding quarter of 1881. For the year just ended the total revenue was £7,4*20,000, an increase of £704,000 on the year 1881.
