SAD DROWNING ACCIDENT. [BY TELEGRAPH.-OWN REPORTER.]
Cambuiimik, Last Night. A doy named Kingdon, 1 2 years of age, a son of Mi- Kingdou, blacksmith, Cambridge West, whilst bathing 'iu the Waikato river to-day, was drowned. The boy attended the Wesleyan Sundayschool picnic, and at about L I o'clock, hi company with two other boys went to bathe in the river, when he was cirncd away by the current. There was no assistance at hand, and he Mas drowned. The body has not been found.
