They have purchased the rights for the colony of the Brush, Lane-Fox, Hope, Kingson, and Tarrante system. The names of the directors include the hon. W. H. Reynolds,- Messrs RobertjWi|son, J. T. McKerras, T. W. Hungerford, A. Burt, H. Driver, and B. Seivwright. Consequent on Captain Underwood's retirement, the following changes in the Union Company's service'are announced : —Captain Carey, transferred to the Rotomahana ; Captain McGee to the Te Ainu; Captain Jones to the Rotorua ; Captain Bernech to the Mahinapui ; Captain Allman to the Southern Cross ; Captain Kennedy gets the new steamer Hauroto ; Captain McGilliyray taking the Hawea ; Captain Mclntosh 'the Hero ;- Captain Webster the Omapere ; Captain Anderson resumes the command of the Penguin, which has been recom missioned after a complete overhaul.
