T>OftOUGH OF HAMILTON. Notice under the "Municipal Corporations Act, 1876," and the Amendments thereof. TAKE NOTICE.— That the Council of the Borough of Hamilton do, in accordance with tho provisions ot the s>aid act, hereby publish ;— 1. That for piomoling the health and convenience ot the inhabitants of the said Borough, the Council thereof proposes to provide a system ol chain age as piojected on plans and specifications now open for inspection at the Council Chambers, Hamilton ; also, 2. That in order to carry out such system of drainage it is pioposcd by the said Council to borrow, by way of special loan, the sum of two thousand five hundred pounds for a period of forty years, and to provide for interest and sinking fund for repayment of same by a special rate of fourpence in the £ on all rateable property within the Borough of Hamilton* 3. That it is proposed by the Council to pledge as security for repayment of same the said special rate of fourpence in the J.M. GELLING. Town Clerk ; JOHN KNOX. ''Mayor.
