Five of the prisoner* who confessed to participation in the murder of the Joyce family at . Mnamtras'sna/ and were duly found guilty and sentenced to death, have now had their sentences commuted to pehaf servitude for' life.' The death sentence will be carried out in the .case of, the otlier prisoners. i , ? Intelligence to hand from Ireland states "that, despite the" prohibition "issued', a" meeting of the National League was held yesterday at Loughrcu, County Galway.
