In the Legislative Assembly this evening Mr Munro asked that precedence might be given to, a motion Jie r ha^ placed upon the order' paper' for the tipI pointment of a select committee to «i- | vestige the. .railway administration pf the colony. I Hplr B. O'Loghlen declined to giant precedence to the, motion. Sir Munro, however, insisted' on precedence being granted, and was w.mnly supported by Mr Berry, n tPlip-; Premier? .thereupon stated that" the Government considered the motion as tantamount to a, vote,, o£ want-oE-confidenee, ' and ' N moved the adjoiirnment of, the House M;>U Tuesday next, at ten o'clock. The discussion was proceeding at a late hour, the general feeling of. the House being adverse to ai vote of \vant-of-conijdence. (
