Mr Alfred Ducklwd's Wi'bki.y Ri-pout. — At the Haymarkct, on Friday, November 24th. fodder was in less quantity than usual, and sold freely at from 3s to (5s the cwt ; hnsccd, 3d the lb. Horse stock were } # ardcd in full numbers, and although at lower values than a month since, were nearly all quitted at s.itisfactoiy prices. Heavy draught, from L3O to L3O ; medium draught, L 23 to L2O ; light harness and fair riding stock, L 3 to L2O ; poor and aged stock, from L 3 each. At the wool sale on Tuesda\ there was .i numerous attendance, and between 400 and 500 bales, sold at steady values throughout. The prices ruling at first sale were f.nrh sustained. At the regular l\ipakur ( i market on Wednesday last there was the usual muster ot stock with a lair attendance of buyers, » and prices, particulaily for grown cattle, were higher than have lately been obtained. At kcmuer.i on Thursday a full mustet of dairy cattle brought from £i 4s to 10s each. Store cattle, in lull - number and late values. Fat cattle, in short supply, little over half the usual number being yarded ; prices were lower than last week about 10s per head. Sheep were abundant, and at last week's values. Lambs also maintained t heir prices, and Pigs, mostly of small and medium sizes, were better worth. Hunter and Noun's Rkport.— Horses : The supply h.is been very large. At the Duiham yards, on Friday, the yards were completely crammed with every description, but bidding was not so brisk as usual. Ot the Gisborne lot those quitted were at prices satisfactory to the owner, but some did not reach the reserve, and were passed in. Wool, Skins and Hides :We held the usual weekly sale on Tuesday, and there was no alteration except a slight advance i n the price ot hides. Cattle.: At tho Newmarket yards, on Tuesday, the usual number of dairy and store stock were brought forward, and an adequate number of fat beasts were penned Dairy cons wore slightly lower than the previous week, and consequent on the want of rain, stores suftered a decline. Heef of last week's value. •Sheep : Over an average number were penned on '1 uesday, and for good fat wethcrr last week's pi ices weren't yen. L~mbs were in full number and l.ur demand. Pigs were m good demand, especially ior dairy ted porkers.
