RAGLAN JOCKEY CLUB.

A meeting of the members of the above club was held in the Harbour View Hotel ou Saturday, the 18th inst, to secure preliminary arrangements in con> ncction w ith the forthcoming race meeting. Mr Graham occupied the chair. The lion, sec, Mr Mathias., stated that there was'a credit balance to the club's account of £ 'M. It was decided that the next race meeting, under the auspices of the club, be held on the 17th of March, ]BS3, on the Raglan (I'apahua) course. Mr Mathias was instructed to call tenders for new hurdles, and also to get some imSrovements made to the racccouise. Mr t. Brettargh was elected president, Mr E. C. Mathias hon. sceictary, Mr C. (Jilmour treasurer, Messrs Barlow, King and Graham, handicappers. A vote of thanks to the chair closed the meeting. — (Own Correspondent.)
