Sydney, Yesterday. Arrived, last evening : Wairarapa, s.s., from Auckland. Sailed, on the 18th : Wakatipu, s.s., for Wellington.
Brisbane, Yesterday. A serious anti-Coolie riot has occurred at Bundabery. The ringleader of the disturbance lias, however, been arrested, and the natives (Singalese) have since gone to work.
Melbourne, Yesterday. The Art/us in to-day's article referring to the report that Sir Win, Jervois will succeed Sir Arthur Gordon, strongly urges the expediency of appointing Sir Wm. Jervois to Victoria instead of New Zealand.
