THE PENROSE ANNUAL SALE.
The animal s.vle of pedigree stock, the property of the Auckland Agricultural Company, took place «at Penrose on Saturday. There was a large attendance of the public The follow ing is a lint of the animals which have been obtained by breeders in this district with particulars as to price, pedigree, &c :—

Dam, Hornshay Duclics 4th, got In .Jrd Duke of Waterloo, vol. vwi , p 00 (21801) The auctioneer pointed out th it this bull was got by an imported sire out of an imported dam, and that Ins quality ■was unexceptionable, lie was, just 14 month* old. Ihe bidding- started at 10 guinea 1 !, and he was purchased at 30 guineas by Mr Jatncii Runciman.
