A CCIDENT A T MA TA MA TA .

A somewhat serious accident befell a boy named Thomas Hamilton, while riding on a Cambridge roller at Matamata, on Friday last. It appears the boy got on the roller beside the driver to have a ride, and stooping to move a pin in the front of the roller he missed his foot and fell among the hoi ses' feet. One of the horses trampled on his thigh, seriously fracturing the bone. The lad was immediately removed to the station, and one of the hands despatched to Cambridge for Dr. Oushuey, who reached Matamata that evening, and had the fraJmred limb dressed.
