Poetry. Dawn Angels.

BY A. MARY Y. KOBINSOX. " All night J watched, awafco, for mom ing : At last tho East grow all aflamo, Tho birds for welcome sang, or warning, And with thoir pinging morning came. " Along tho gold-green heavens drifted Pale wandering souls that slum the light, Whose cloudy pinions, torn and rifted, Had beat the bais of Heaven all night. " Those clustered round tho Moon ; but higher A troop of shining spirits went, Who were not made of wind or fiic, But some divine dream-element. " Somo held tho Light, while those remaining Shook out thoir hnivc&t-colorcd wings, A faint unusual music raining (Whose sound was Light) on earthly things. " They sang, and as a mighty river Their voices washed Iho night away : From East to West ran one white fahiver, And waxen strong their song was Day."
