LATEST AUCKLAND NEWS. [BY TELEGRAPH.— OWN CORRESPONDENT.]
The Markets. Auckland, Last Night. The weekly market price list published to-day, contains but few alterations from that of last week. Butter is plentiful, and consequently cheaper ; wholesale is worth lOd ; retail, Is per lb ; eggs are quoted at last weeks' prices ; potatoes, retail, are worth from 5s to 6d per cwt. The gum market has improved slightly.
Board of Education. The Board of Education, to-day, re. solved to get £6000 overdraft, so that |<£ delay may occur in prosecuting works, pencling receipt of their £15,000 out of loan.
The Bigamy Case. At the Police Court, to-day. Lyttle was again remanded on a charge of bigamy. Thos. Sims was committed for trial on a charge of forgery! -

Richardson, stationer, Cambridge, makes an announcement in our advertising columns. , The Waikato Steam Navigation Company make an important announcement concerning their time-table, and goods on sale at the different agencies,, , t Mr' J. S. Buckland will hold his first cattle fair on Tuesday, the 3lBt'inst., when he will offer pure Hereford bulls, bred by Maclean and Co., aod. about. 400 head of .cattle of all .descriptions.; Full particulars will appear on Tuesday.,
