Alexandria, October 10. The embarkation of British troops for England, and the Indian contingent for Bombay is beins; rapidly proceeded with, and transports are leaving daily for their destination. An inquiry has been opened here into the circumstances attending the outbreak and massacre which oecmred in this city in June last. London, October 10. It is understood that the British Government has not yet formulated any proposal for the final settlement of the Egyptian Question ; but that the Powers are being sounded a3 to their views, pending the final settlement of affairs in Egypt.
