Pilgrimage to Mecca. Alexandria, October 5. The customary ceremony connected with the departure of an extensive caravan of pilgrims for Mecca took place to-day at Cairo. A large body of British troops paraded for the occasion, and Sir Gurnet Wolseley, the Duke of Connaught, and other officers were present.
