The Indian Troops.— The Settlement of Affairs. '-. London, October '3o. Prior to embarkation, the Indian troops are to be inspected by H.R.H. the Duke of Connanght. A number of the Indian troops which have been in Egypt arc to receive medals from the Queen personally." Lien tenant-General Sir John Adye, 'X.C.8., the Chief of the Staff in Egypt, and second in command to Sir Garnet Wolseley, is to return home immediately, in order to advise the Government as to the steps necessary in regard to the occupation of Egypt and the preservation of peace.
