SUPREME COURT, AUCKLAND.
At the Court on Tuesday, Samuel Joy, of Taupiri, was found guilty on a charge of bigamy, the particulars of which have alteady been published, and was sentenced to two months' imprisonment without hard labor. Charles Davis, charged with stealing £100 from a cash box at the Kamo Hotel, Whangarei, was discharged, as it was proved in evidence that the prosecutor's wife took the money and lent a portion of it to prisoner.
