WAIKATO SLAUGHTERING & FREEZING CO. (Limited). Farmers and Merchants are invited to attend a PUBLIC MEETING, to be held at Mr Delaneys Hotel, Ohaupo, at noon on Tuesday, 26th inst., to give an expression of opinion on the prospectus of the above company. CAMBRIDGE BRANCH OF THE \J BRITISH AND FOREIGN BIBLE SOCIETY. A PUBLIC MEETING will be held in the Public Hall on THURSDAY EVENING, 21st inst., in connection with the above Society, when addresses will be delivered by Archdeacon Willis, the Rev. W. Evans, T. G. Carr, D. Whytock, and other gentlemen. Chair to be taken by Thos. Wells, Es^., J.P., atBo'olock. Collection in aid of the Society's funds. "PARTIES INDEBTED to J.
