MAIN ROADS IN WAIKKTO. [BY TELEGRAPH. — OWN CORRESPONDENT.]

Wellisgtqx, Tuesday. The following are defined to be roads under the Roads and Bridges construction Act just passed : — Situated in the County of Raglan r Churchill to Coast, 22 miles ; Taupiri to Whaingaioa, 21 miles ; Wliatawhata to Raglan, 18 miles. These are defined to be county roads within the meaning and the act. Waikato County: Mercer to Taupiri, 22 miles; Rangiriri to Churchill, 4 miles ; Taupiri to Wliatawhata ; Hamilton to Te Archa, 13 miles ; Taupiri to Hokonui to Hamilton, thence to Cambridge. The above are county roads. Cambridge to Rotorua is a colonial road. Thames County: Grahamstown to OhineiTuvi ; Qhinomuri towards Te Aroha. Piako County : Te Aroha and Matamata to Cambridge ; Te Arolia towards Hamilton, The Cambridge to Rotorua, and Tokoroa Plain to Cambridge roads are colonial roads. Waipa County : Ngarimvahia to Alexandra and Waipa ; Cambridge to Hamilton to Whatawhata ; Hamilton to Alexandra ; Cambridge to Ohaupo via Kihikihi; Cambridge to Ohaupo (direct). Kihikihi to Taupo (part of) is a colonial road. West Taupo County : Kihikihi to Lake Taupo or Tokano ; Tokano Plain to Rotorua-Taupo road. These also are colonial roads.
