[ARGUS SPECIALS.] The Recent Engagement. London, Sept. 10, 11.13 p.m.
In the engagement on Saturday, the contingent from the enemy's position at Salaki, numbering 1500 men, with a battery of Krupp guns, attempted to outflank the British forces at Kassassin, but were routed after an exceedingly stubborn contest, during which our forces managed to capture a gun and standard. The total casualties on the British side numbered 64.
