ACCIDENT at NGARUA WAHIA.

A serious accident happened yesterday morning to Mr John Paddy, of the firm of Paddy and Wallace, agricultural implement makers, Ngnruawahia. It appears that he wa* riding a horse that had some harness on its back, which it was unaccustomed to, and the animal becoming restive and commencing to buck, Mr Paddy jumped off, fracturing his right leg. Medical aid was sent for to Hamilton, and Dr. Beale at once proceeded to Ngaruawahia. He found that both bones of the right leg had sustained a simple fracture just above the ancle joint. He at once set the limb and did all that was necessary in the case. Mr Paddy will be laid ttp for some time.
