NEW PLYMOUTH, Yesterday.

A half decked fishing boat v ith four tons of cargo for Mokau on crossing the bar at that place was thrown upon the rocks off South Head, and quickly broken up, the sea being heavy. The w hole cargo valued at £150 Mas lost. All the crew were saved. A second boat with timber which left Waitara on Friday last, has not been heard of. Great anxiety is felt for her safety.
