The chair was occupied by Lieutenant Barriball. After the usual loyal and patriotic toasts had been suitably acknowledged, the Chairman pioposed "The Visiting Team." He referred to the pleasure they experienced in receiving a Waikato team, and complimented all the competitors on the excellent shooting displayed. The toast was suitably responded -to by Lieutenant Bruce, of the Te Awamutu Troop. In the evening the visitors were entertained at a ball, at which about 30 couples were present, and the arrangements for which were perfect. Tho Te Awamutu men arrived home last night, thoroughly pleased with their trip. It is probable that a return match will be fired sonic time in October, at Te Awamutu. We arc indebted to the courtesy of Sergeant-Major Carley, who accompanied the visiting team, for the correct copy of the scoies given above.
