The building i 3 40ft. by 50ft., nearly all first-class kauri, divided into four separate apartments, and all roofed with corrugated iron. There is between 30cwt. and 35cwt. corrugated iron on the building. Tenders will be received till next SATURDAY, 26th inst. The higheot or any other tender not necessarily accepted.

NOTICE is hereby given, that in pursuance of the public notification of the intention of the Hamilton Borough Council to make a General Rate on the 21st August, 1882, the Council have, by resolution passed on the above date, made and levied a. general rate of Is in the £ on all rateable property within the above Borough appearing on the valuation roll, for the period of one year, commencing on the Ist April, 1882, and ending 31st March, 1883, to be payable to the undersigned on and after the Ist September, 1882, in one sum, at the Borough Council Office, Hamilton, if not paid in 14 days after demand in writing by the collector.
